In our company we produce mechanical and functional prototypes using aluminum and cast iron.
The innovative technique, adopted for the construction of our prototypes takes the name of Quick Sand Casting and divides the prototyping
cycle into different phases:
Casting, deburring and sandblasting.
In the first phase the feasibility study is performed by analyzing the 3D mathematical model.
Modeling and printing
We then move on to modeling the pre-mold and printing the premodels. Thanks to the innovative technologies adopted in our company, we are able to make complex, undercut shapes.
The metal casting will then be performed inside the sand and resin pre-mold and the consequent carbonization of the resin that composes the premodel is a step that comes afterwards.
Finishing (deburring and sandblasting)
At the end of the solidification process, finally, the object obtained by melting is subjected to a meticulous finishing operation which involves the
removal of the metal burrs (smearing). Finally, the surface of the product produced is made homogeneous by sandblasting.
The adoption of the most advanced metal prototyping techniques ensures the creation of extremely precise prototypes and allows us to recommend this technique even for small series castings.
