Cast Iron GJL200

Like all lamellar cast irons, GJL200 is also produced through continuous casting, a technology that allows for cast iron bars free of blowholes or non-metallic inclusions. The main properties of this alloy are:

  • Very low hardness
  • Excellent ability to dampen noise and vibrations
  • High thermal conductivity

 

Applications of EN-GJL200 cast iron

Cast iron GJL200 is used in various industrial fields, particularly for:

  • Mechanical components subject to vibrations
  • Parts requiring good thermal conductivity
  • Structural elements with low hardness
