Cast iron
The values actually found on a casting depend strongly on the thickness of the element being considered and the morphology of the casting itself.
Aluminum
The alloys used are aluminum-silicon alloys. To ensure the best result in terms of casting success, only primary alloys are used.
Bronze
Prototype bronze castings are made for specific applications, such as, nautical parts, parts for industry machinery, and parts for machine building.
Sand
Prototype moulds directly use 3D printed sand (silica or Cerabeads), also used as a semi-finished product for the Quick Sand Casting solution.
Plastic
Plastic prototypes can be obtained by SLS printing materials, milling materials, PolyJet/Object printing materials (aesthetic and appeal simulation uses);
Polyurethane resins
Bicomponent polyurethane resins cross-link at room temperature by the addition of appropriate catalyst resulting in a stable and irreversible compound with high mechanical strength and flexibility.
Stereolithography
Both transparent and opaque rigid resins characterized by high construction detail, rigidity and refinability to achieve remarkable aesthetic impacts.
Carbon
By means of CNC milling, objects in a wide variety of materials can be constructed from a block of the chosen material and shaped by milling machines.
Steel
Making prototypes with Silicone molds is a micro-manufacturing technique called "soft tooling" since the mold is made of precisely soft material.
