BRONZE ALLOY CuSn8 Pb15 (BPb15)
Containing about 8% tin and 15% lead, this alloy has good hot and cold workability, good wear and fatigue resistance, and low susceptibility to stress cracking.
This alloy is often used in applications such as bearings, threaded joints, gears, bolts and screws, as well as in components for electric motors and mechanical transmissions.
It is commonly used in the automotive industry, suspension systems, pumps and bearings.
