BRONZE ALLOY CuSn5Pb20 (BPb20)
CuSn5Pb20 is an alloy containing about 5% tin and 20% lead, characterized by good machinability at all temperatures, good wear and fatigue resistance, and low susceptibility to stress cracking.
This alloy is commonly used in applications such as bearings, gears, springs, and parts for electric motors, as well as in components for marine engineering, where corrosion resistance in saline environments is important.
It is also used in the automotive industry, suspension systems and bearings.
