BRONZE ALLOY CuSn5 Zn5 Pb5
A general-purpose alloy, common bronze (85.5.5.5) is generally used to make hydraulic components because of its compactness and resistance to both wear and corrosion.
This alloy is used in several industries including the shipbuilding industry for the production of propellers, shafts, and gears; the automotive industry for the production of bearings, gears, and engine parts; the aerospace industry for the production of instrumentation parts; and the food industry for the production of food and beverage processing equipment.
