BRONZE ALLOY CuSn10Pb10 (BPb12)

An alloy of bronze and lead (Pb) that contains about 10 percent tin and 10 percent lead.

It exhibits good hot and cold workability, good wear and fatigue resistance, and low susceptibility to stress cracking.

This alloy is commonly used in applications such as threaded joints, gears, bolts and screws, as well as in components for electric motors and mechanical transmissions.

It is also often used in the automotive industry, suspension systems, pumps and bearings.
