At our company we make mechanical and functional prototypes by casting aluminum and cast iron.
The innovative technique, adopted for the construction of our prototypes is called Quick Sand Casting and divides the prototyping cycle into several stages:
Analysis;
Modeling;
Print;
Casting, deburring and sandblasting.
Analysis
In the first stage, the feasibility study is carried out by analysis of the 3D mathematical model.
Modeling and printing
We then move on to pre-mold modeling and pre-model printing. Thanks to the innovative technologies adopted by our company, we will also be able to make complex, undercut shapes.
Casting
Within the pre-mold made of sand and resin, metal casting will then be performed and the subsequent carbonization of the resin that makes up the premodel will follow.
Finishing (deburring and sandblasting)
Finally, at the end of the solidification process, the object obtained by casting will undergo a painstaking finishing operation involving the removal of metal burrs (deburring). Finally, the surface of the manufactured product will be made homogeneous by sandblasting.
The adoption of the most advanced metal prototyping techniques ensures the production of extremely accurate prototypes and allows us to recommend this technique even for small series castings.
Prototypes: the prototype castings that shape your design.
With Rapid Prototyping services we can make your designs a reality by producing functional parts in plastic, rubber, aluminum and cast iron in a very short time, reducing your “Time to Market” and enabling overall project cost containment.
